Galveston, Texas is a photographer's delight. Plenty of turn-of-the-century architecture, Queen Anne Victorian style homes, and other historic points of interest. With a little luck, one might get a good deal at the
Treemont House, an exquisite four star hotel located in the historic Strand district. We managed such a deal during spring break, of all times, which seems counter intuitive for a beach town. Has to do with its location, as in, not on the beach. That's actually an asset during spring break.
